M400 AdBlue® LIQUID NITROGEN OXIDE EMISSION REDUCTION DIESEL EXHAUST GAS


Use:

M400 AdBlue® is a Urea-based liquid used in
selective catalytic reduction (SCR) to reduce emissions
of nitrogen oxides from exhaust gases produced by vehicles
equipped with a diesel engine



INSTRUCTIONS:

AdBlue® M400 is used by vehicles equipped with the system
SCR, is transported in specific tanks and is introduced into the system
catalytic from 0.1% to 5% of the diesel consumed (depending on the type of
vehicle and engine). This low dosage guarantees operation
long-lasting, while still minimizing the space occupied on the vehicle.




Benefits:
M400 is a chemical solution containing technical urea, which
appropriately mixed and combusted with diesel, with a
percentage that varies from 0.1% to 5% depending on the medium,
serves to reduce polluting emissions of nitrogen oxides.
The solution is non-toxic, non-flammable and not dangerous to handle.
For this solution to be called AdBlue® it must contain a specific concentration of technical urea and above all respect the rigid qualitative parameters that regulate the contents of
metals, calcium, biuret and other components which, if present in AdBlue®, would cause damage
irreparable for the catalysts.
In 2008, the European Parliament voted on the new Euro VI legislation for cars and vehicles
heavy. The new emission limits will come into force in 2014 and lead to a reduction
for NOx emissions by 80% and a 66% reduction in the PM emission limit compared
to Euro V emissions.


The M400 is sold individually in the 10 liter canister.
