Rinnovaprato Bottos seeds are suitable for regenerating light green lawns. Rinnovaprato is ideal for regenerating all mixtures of poa and light ryegrass typical of sports greenery and also strongly recommended for regenerating recreational areas and parks in full sun.

Since it is entirely composed of ryegrass, its shade tolerance is average and therefore any reseeding in such environments does not provide long-lasting results. Rinnovaprato is excellent for autumn overseeding in macrothermal carpets (gramigne) without any problem with vegetative growth at the end of spring.

Sowing and Dosage

Germination can take from 3 to 10 days in direct correlation with soil temperatures. Please note that the required soil temperature is above 7°C. The dosage is 30-35 g/m2 (but also 80-100 g/m2 in technical overseeding of sports or macrothermal areas), the maximum doses are recommended in case of high temperatures or imperfect processing of the seed bed. It is always recommended to use lawn soil.

Cut

Carry out the first cut when the grass reaches 8-10 cm and during annual management in the shade do not go below 6 cm.

Irrigation

When sowing and reseeding, keep the soil constantly moist until complete germination. In the summer period, irrigate with 7 mm of water every day. If possible, during the months of July and August, program a 1-2 mm thermal irrigation every day around 11:00 (cooling).

Nutrition

Phosphate fertilization at sowing and then planning of 4-6 fertilizations per year with at least 30 units of nitrogen m2/year to rise up to 40 units of nitrogen m2/year in the case of sports greenery. During ordinary maintenance, limit the use of phosphorus-based fertilizers to avoid the possible proliferation of Poa Annua. Also plan 4 biostimulant treatments to increase tolerance to trampling and heat.
