Royal Shade Plus lawn seeds (New 2021 Master Green Life Line) create a dark green lawn with medium texture with particular reference to shaded areas. The varieties present guarantee medium-fast planting and coverage, good density and intense colour.

Made up of latest generation American cultivars that are able to compete even with the roots of higher trees thanks to their improved photosynthetic capacity and the important development of the root system; in this way a mixture is obtained which is also suitable for shading from living elements. Also suitable for late sowing.

Usage Tips:

Sowing and Dosage

Germination can take from 4 to 10 days in direct correlation with soil temperatures (soil temperature required above 12°C). The dosage is 30-35 g/m2, the maximum doses are recommended in case of high temperatures and/or imperfect processing of the seed bed. We recommend using lawn soil. During regeneration, increase the dosage to 40-50 g/m2

Cut

Perform the first cut when the grass reaches 7-8 cm. Never remove more than 30% of the vegetation present and do not cut below 50 mm in shaded areas.

Irrigation

When sowing and reseeding, keep the soil constantly moist until complete germination. On a mature lawn, in the summer period irrigate with 10 mm of water every 2-3 days. Pay attention to water management, do not exaggerate with the quantities and frequencies of distribution in the hottest periods to avoid encouraging the onset of potential seasonal diseases. In case of shade from pine trees, double the wetting times in the hottest periods.

Nutrition

Phosphate fertilization at sowing. Following shade, manage nutrition with a 1:2 N/K ratio with approximately 20 nitrogen units m2/year. In sunny/shaded situations, increase the nitrogen fraction to 25 nitrogen units m2/year. Also plan 4 biostimulant treatments to increase tolerance to trampling, shade and heat.

Why tanning?

The tanning is composed of a mix of useful microorganisms based on mycorrhizae, trichoderma and bacteria capable of improving the absorption of phosphorus, significantly contributing to the increase in root mass and naturally protecting the development of young seedlings through an active fight against pathogenic fungi. The fungistatic substances deposited around the roots will also be able to slow down and block the development of harmful fungi in the root area.
