The brush cutter hose is a very important component present only in backpack brush cutters. This piece mounted directly on the brush cutter engine allows the transmission of the rotary motion from the engine block to the rod with consequent rotation of the cutting head.

The hose for the brush cutter rotates at approximately 10,000/15,000 revolutions per minute, therefore it is essential to use it avoiding very pronounced twists of the sheath and trying to limit kickbacks, thus avoiding possible breakages of the piece. Correct maintenance of the spare part requires greasing the piece every approximately 30 hours of work and if heavy accessories such as blades and brushes are used every 20 hours.

It is a good idea to replace the hose when it shows damage on the external part to prevent it from also damaging the sheath. The main problems that can arise are a narrowing in a specific point of the replacement or a "curly" opening of the spiral.
